Blue Sky’s students will experience boarding life within the campus of one of our university and boarding school partners in their chosen location: London, Singapore or Sydney.

London

University College London (UCL)

One of the world’s leading universities, UCL is London’s top multidisciplinary research university with an international reputation for the quality of its research and teaching. UCL is currently ranked 7th in the QS World University Rankings. UCL is situated in the heart of London, close to the West End and all of its attractions. Some of the world’s most important collections, including the British Library and the British Museum, are on UCL’s doorstep.

University of London

The University of London is a federal university and one of the oldest, largest, and most diverse universities in the UK. The teaching is carried out by the 17 colleges and 9 specialist Institutes that comprise the university. The university offers accommodation at various locations in London, including the Intercollegiate Halls available to students of all member colleges. International Hall is one of them, located just minutes from Russell Square in central London

University of Greenwich

University of Greenwich is among the most respected universities in London and Kent, with a proud tradition in education that dates back more than 125 years. The university has three impressive campuses that benefit from world-class research and technology innovation. The largest campus is centered on the Old Royal Naval College in Royal Greenwich on the banks of the River Thames, at the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Singapore

National University of Singapore (NUS)

NUS is consistently ranked as one of Asia’s top universities in various league tables such as the QS World University Rankings and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. According to the latest 2015 QS World University Rankings, NUS is ranked 12th in the world and retained its position as 1st in Asia.

NUS’s main campus is located in South-West Singapore adjacent to Kent Ridge, with an area of 150 hectares (0.58 sq mi).

Nanyang Girls’ Boarding School

Considered by many to be the most desired high school for high-achievement girls in Singapore, The Nanyang Girls’ Boarding School has been providing boarders with a home away from home since 2000. For tour groups ( Bluesky’s holiday camp students), both male and female students are allowed to stay.

Facilities in the boarding school include four music rooms, garden, boarders’ room, four sports courts (two basketball courts, one multi-purpose field, one multi-purpose court), dining hall, function room, student lounge, pantry, computer room and three study halls.

Hwa Chong Institution Boarding School

Considered by many to be the best high school in Singapore, Hwa Chong has been a top feeder school for international students to world leading’s universities, especially Oxford University. The school is a member of Strategic Alliance of Global Educators and Strategic Educational Alliance of Southeast Asia. The boarding school began its operations in 2002, and was officially opened in 2003 by then deputy prime minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong.

Dunman High School Boarding School

Dunman High School (DHS) is an autonomous co-educational secondary school in Singapore offering the Integrated Programme and the Special Assistance Plan (SAP). It is one of the leading co-educational high schools in Singapore in terms of academic results, and one of the largest government schools in Singapore in terms of physical area.

Sydney

Macquarie University 

Named after Governor Lachlan Macquarie who founded the city of Sydney, Macquarie University is a world leader in environmental sciences, physical sciences, and agricultural and veterinary sciences (rating 5 out of 5 in the 2015 Federal Government’s Excellence in Research for Australia initiative). Macquarie University’s campus is situated in one of the largest business and technology precincts in the southern hemisphere, creating a hub of innovation and excellence.

The University of Sydney

The University of Sydney is an Australian public research university. Founded in 1850, it is Australia’s first university and is regarded as one of the country’s leading universities. It is particularly strong in the fields of Medicine, Law, Business and Arts; with the 2016 QS World University Rankings by Subject ranked University of Sydney to be 9th in Education, 11th in Law and 17th in Medicine.

The University of New South Wales ( UNSW Australia)

Established in 1949 with a unique focus on the scientific, technological and professional disciplines, UNSW is a leading Australian university with a student body over 50,000 students coming from 128 countries, making it one of Australia’s most cosmopolitan universities.

The University of Newcastle Australia

Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, the University of Newcastle Australia provides world-class facilities and services that support innovation in learning. UON Sydney is a rapidly growing educational centre of excellence for both international and domestic students, offering a range of flexible study options, from postgraduate programs and Masters degrees through GradSchool, to ELICOS English Language Courses.
