Course Overview
Australia has emerged as a global hub for trade and innovation, with its major cities hosting a multitude of multinational corporations and new, innovative startups cropping up daily in incubation centres across the country.
Through BlueSky Education’s Business & Innovation Programme, students can gain a foundational understanding and knowledge of global business, covering key concepts such as programme creation and selection, while also meeting with current future leaders of the Australian business community.
What You Will Learn
This immersion programme provides hands-on learning experiences that include company visits and talks with industry experts, allowing students to witness first-hand the challenges of business in the 21st century. The course is structured around core topics that build on prior learning, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of business principles in a condensed time frame.
Learning Objectives
Gain deep, practical insight into core business functions, strategies, and decision-making processes by engaging directly with industry experts and observing companies in action.
Key Concepts
How to undertake and present research, effective usage of facts and statistics, how to develop an idea, how to engage an audience.
Activities
Students will engage in fun group activities to build self confidence and comfort with classmates. Lessons are supplemented with debates and in-class presentations. From day one students are speaking and participating all the time.
Outcome
Students learn how to shine on stage, pulling together all the knew knowledge and skills they’ve learned through the week to give a presentation on a topic of their choice during our star studded finale night.
