Course Overview
The Vietnam Culture & History Programme is a 14-day immersive journey designed to introduce students to the country’s rich historical tapestry and cultural heritage. Travelling through Hanoi, Halong, Da Nang, Hoi An, and Hue, participants explore UNESCO sites, ancient towns, and rural villages while attending cultural lectures and workshops at British University Vietnam (BUV) and FPT University. The programme blends academic learning with hands-on cultural activities, historical site tours, community interactions, and local experiences, giving students a holistic and authentic understanding of Vietnam’s identity.

Activities
The programme features a comprehensive range of cultural and historical activities, including classroom learning at BUV and FPT University, guided heritage tours, and visits to iconic locations like Duong Lam Village, Ninh Binh’s Trang An, Hoi An Ancient Town, and the Imperial City of Hue. Students take part in hands-on workshops such as lantern-making, craft village visits, and riverboat rides that bring history to life. They also experience rural culture through farm visits, cycling, and interactions with villagers, allowing them to observe traditional lifestyles and cultural continuity firsthand.
